Hope requires action.

If you think you are too small to make a difference try sleeping with a mosquito. —The 14th Dalai Lama

Below is a list of groups and resources I have come across in my research. These websites have excellent information, ideas for action, and sometimes, opportunities to volunteer. The list is not exhaustive but will give you a place to start. I’ve only included groups that have websites (there are many that do not on e.g. on Facebook) and I’ve excluded groups like Avaaz that have a much wider focus (e.g. all social justice issues including the environment). If you have suggestions to add to the list please feel welcome to contact me.
